Gymnastic Exhibition.
The second Gymnastic Exhibition of
the University of Nebraska was given
In the Armory last Saturday night and
proved a most gratifying success. A
good crowd was out and manifested
very coidlal Interest and pleasure In
the entcclnlument furnished. The
"gymnastic'' team which Is to go to
Chicago to compete In the Western
Intercollegiate Championships did
some very fine "stunts," rivaling per
formers of such nature usually seen
at the Lyric. One of the prettiest fori
tines of tlio evening was a Swedish
dunce given by girls In Swedish cos
tume. A drill by the girls of the Nor
mal training class was also enthusias
tically received. Tho most amusing
part of the program, however, was an
obstacle race between the Hrst and sec
ond year men. It was won by the for
mer after many tribulations. But the
climax of the excitement was reached
In the class relay races. These were
very interesting and exciting, the
Sophomores finally winning the cham
pionship. Basket-ball.
The last basket-ball game of the
season was played with Wesleyan on
the home floor last night, resulting In
a gigantic victory for Nebraska with
a score of 59 to 11. The visiting team
played a losing gamo from the first,
as will be seen by the score of the llrst
half, which was 28 to G.
