Yesterday morning, a student of the
University, Clifford L. Bohannan by
name, was tried in tho police court
for stealing overcoats at the. Universi
ty, was convicted and fined $100 and
costs.
Everything indicates that tho Gym
nastic exhibition to bo held a 'week
from tomorrow night, Saturday, March
23, will be the most successful of its
kind In tho history of tho Institution.

this Is a general feeling in tho Law
school.
Efforts havo been made for tho last
fivo years to get tho class books united
and havo ono big representative Uni
versity publication. Now that this is
all but accomplished in a thoroly broad
manner, any effort toward splitting the
book up again seems especially In
opportune and out of place.
All the schools and classes represen
ted will .have their photographs run In
groups; all the Engineers will bo in
one separate group, all tho Laws In
another, and so qn. But since the re
mainder of the schools are to have their
stories, jokes and so forth together, It
Is hard to see why the Laws should
draw apart. Let us havo a University
book, not a group of class books
