About ono hundred young men at tendod the banquet given at the Lin dell Hotel Inst Friday night, and all are well pleased with the pleasantry of the evening. It was evident that all the courses of the banquet were ap preciated: and the wit that flowered thru the various toasts was a splendid desert. All the talks abounded in wit and thot. Professor Maxey's remarks were wholly original and his manner was entirely his own. Congressman Drown on "The College Man In Public ' Life" made a decided "hit." The talks were Interspersed by music from the University Glee Club Quartette which was encored again and again. UNDERWOOD VISIBLE TYPEWRITERS 136 North Elivinth Bill 348. Autoi388.
