Book Will Be Dedicated This Morning.
A meeting of tho Senior Class will
bo hold this morning- at Chapel time
in Chem. Lecture Room. Tho pur
pose of the meeting will be the dedi
cation of tho Cornhusker. This will
bo done by combining the votes of
tho Senior and Junior classes and
choosing tho one receiving the high
est number of votes cast. The class
will also take up tho matter of Medic
representation in the Cornhusker. Tho
Medics feel that they should be placed
on the same footing as the Law
School, and will ask for a change In
inter-class agreement for that purpose.
Several ctfmmittees will also report.
Sinco this meeting will occur at
Chapel time, there should bo a good
show of class spirit In the attendance.

Small Cabinet Entertained.
Tho Small Cabinet of the Y. W. C.
A. was royally entertained by Mrs.
Talbot lust Saturday. A live course
dlnnor was servod in the most festal
manner at G: 30, and the girls nro-
nounced Mrs. Talbot a splendid hos
tess. At noon a number of tho Cab
inet girls were ontertained by Mrs.
Barkley at her cosy little home. These
girls also declare Mrs. Barkley an ex
cellent hostess.
Some .time shor.tly the- Small Cab
inets of the Y. W. and Y. M. will give
a joint program and dinner. Plans
are being arranged that are to mako
this affair a social success.
Academy Basket-ball.
The Academy basket-ball tosBers aro
going to have a "big" time nt tho Uni
versity Armory tomorrow night, when
tho girls play Peru Normal basket-ball
five and tho boys meet tho team from
the. State Farm. The Academy stu
dents expect two hard contests.

six out of nine games. After the rough
contests at Minneapolis thoy wore un
able to play even fairly good basket
ball and let all except the weakest
teams defeat them by small margins.
At Iowa City tho Nebraska five lost
by the score of 32 to 29 Friday night,
and tho next evening met defeat at
Grlnnell by tho score of 27 to 21. Walsh

last game at the Iowa College because
of Injuries received in tho Wisconsin
contest, which made participation in
any game for several days Impossible.

are women. Here, at least, there
seems to be no vital antagonism be
tween poetry and pedagogy.
