Wednesday night tho Freshmen j basket-ball team played the Meteors I of tho city Y. M. C. A. tho latter win ning by the score 26 to 17. The game was characterized by rough play, both teams fouling repeatedly. Mitchell wan tiiu nun ui uiu fciwuu, met Bu" throwing being largely responsible for the Y. M. C. A's. victory. In tho first half the Freshmen tried out six guards and this largely accounts for the load which the Y. M. C. A. secured and held.
