Arthur Jorgenson and J. L. Dor Kin doren will appear on tho program of the State Annual Convention of the Young Men's Christian Association to bo held at Columbus, Nebraska, Feb ruary, 7-10. Mr. Jorgenson, who is president of the University association, will address the convention Saturday afternoon on tho subject of "Missions," while" Mr. Der KIndedren will talk on "How to Intensify Association Spirit." Altogether there will be fourteen representatives of tho University Y. M, C. A. at this meeting. They leave herd this afternoon and return Sunday night. Among tho lecturers that will ap pear before the Association aro Rev, Robert F. Coylo of Denver, and Mn Fred S Goodman of Now York, both of whom have a wide reputation as plat form lecturers. The University young men are fortunato in being able to ge the benefit of the lecutre course and tho various conferences. Band in Trouble, A movement was started last Tues day toward getting tho University band to remain during the week of graduation exercises next summer. To this the members objected very stren uously, and a committee was appoint ed to call upon the Chancellor.- He", however, upon being interviewed, stood firmly for tho plan, and tho boys, in order to ge credit, will probably have to remain a week longqr than usual.
