Republican Club to Meet.
The University Republican Club met
yesterday morning and adjourned un
til Tuesday, January 22, at 11 a. in.,
when It will meet again In U. 208. Tho
"county option" bill, now beforo the
state legislature, will again bo taken
up and discussed. A decision will also
bo made in regard to tho1 representa
tion of the club in the Cornhusker.
Forestry Club to Meet.
Tho University Forestry Club will
hold its regular bi-monthly meeting
this ovenlng at 8 p. m. in N. 110. Mr.
Charles G. Bates will give a talk on
his recent trip to tho whlto pine for
ests of Northern Minnesota. Tho Uni
versity public is invitee to attend.
Mr. Fred C. Laird, who graduated
from tho law college last year, was a
campus visitor yesterday. Mr. Laird
is now a prosperous lawyer in Fre
mont, Nebr.
