Twenty fifth Anniversary.
Dr. and Mrs. E. D. Bucknor cele
brated their t.wenty-fifth anniversary
at the auditorium in Osceola.
About one thousand invitations wore
sent out, nnd a large and happy crowd
was present. Dr. Bucknor and wlfo
have been residents of Osceola for
Iwenty-flvo years, and have a largo
circle of friends throughout tho slate.
New Interurban Train.
The first train on the, Sioux City
Crystal Lake & Homer railway, a now
interurban electric line, was run from
Sioux City, In., to Dakota City, Neb.,
Dec. 16. A large number of passengers
wero carried as guests of the road,

Longworths In Auto Crash.
Representative and Mrs. Nicholas
Longworth were occupants of an au
tomobile which crashed Into the sta
tion platform at Chevy Chase, a- suburb
of Washington. Beyond a shaking up
the occupants wore uninjured. Tho
machine was lightly damaged.

Colonel Sarrano has informed the
Equador goyjernniont that he attacked
the Pasape rebels and won a splendid
victory. . After the fighting at Pasajo
the. government forces marched to at
tack the rebels is at Santa Rosa.
