Dr. and Mrs. E. D. Bucknor cele
brated their t.wenty-fifth anniversary
at the auditorium in Osceola.
About one thousand invitations wore
sent out, nnd a large and happy crowd
was present. Dr. Bucknor and wlfo
have been residents of Osceola for
Iwenty-flvo years, and have a largo
circle of friends throughout tho slate.
New Interurban Train.
The first train on the, Sioux City
Crystal Lake & Homer railway, a now
interurban electric line, was run from
Sioux City, In., to Dakota City, Neb.,
Dec. 16. A large number of passengers

Longworths In Auto Crash.
Representative and Mrs. Nicholas
Longworth were occupants of an au
tomobile which crashed Into the sta
tion platform at Chevy Chase, a- suburb
of Washington. Beyond a shaking up
the occupants wore uninjured. Tho
