Tho Hawkeye Club hold Its first meeting of tho yoai last Friday even ing at tho homo of Miss Marcla Had- ley. A very large crowd was out, all but two or three of the large number of inwn Frnahmen being present. Tho Ames foam had been Invited and tho Invitation had boon accepted, but ow ing to tho latenes3 of their arrival and the fatigue of tho men from the long trip, they wore not able to attend the meeting. Next in order was the "Joke" program. The company was divided Into two groupes.
