Francisco Earthquake.
C. C. Pullls, '9G, who was seriously
lnjurod during the earthquake at San
Francisco last spring, has returned to
his company In tho regular army.
Lioutonant Pullls was Injured by a
premature, explosion of dynamite
while attempting to chock tho fire.
Mr. Pullls was captain of Company B
whlloln tho University.

Miss. Woodford will bo Instructor In
German and Botany at tho Academy.

Miss Beams, a "University graduate,
who taught In tho high schools of To
bias nnd Castor, succeeds Miss Nellie
Dean as instructor In Latin and Eng
lish. Miss Doan Is a teacher In tho Spo

Director Gillespie Is not satisfied
with tho progress of registration for
the Glee and Mandolin Club try-outs.
