The Charge of the Co-Eds.
Half a block, half a block,
Half a block onward,
Thru tho south entrance gate,
Wont tho six hundred. .
Strolling for Boclal time,
Rushing to spend a dime,
Out during chapol-tlme,
Went tho six hundred.
Frat man and barb arrayed,
Was there a girl dismayed?
Yes, for they felt that they
Somehow had blundered;
Tholr's nofr to mako reply,
Thelr's not to reason why,
There's but to breathe and fly!
Wretched six hundred!
Smokers to right of them, "
Smokers to loft of them,
Smokers In front of them,
Clustered or sundered;
Puffed at by listless "swell,"
Stormed at with smoke and smell,
Into tho jaws of well;
Poor, poor six hundred!
