Tho fenr has been expressed, and apparently not without duo causo, that thoro will bo a controversy of no small proportions over tho admission ot Senior Law students to tho meeting of tho academic Seniors on noxt Tues day. This question Is one that has per plexed classes for so long and has caused so much confusion and hard fooling that wo think It should bo set tled once for all and tho result bo put down among tho unwritten laws and, tho wrltton laws, too, for that mas ter of clasB organization In tho Uni versity. Our own opinion Is that there Is no good and sufficient reason for sopar- H A Mule's Ears it it it it it it it it it it it it it 'it it it it are becoming. They are built especially for the mule. Crt(r& atlng the classes of tho CollegToTLaw and the roat of tho Unlvorslty any nioro than that tho Industrial Collage should have Its own organization and " tho Medics thpirs. Tho fact that tho Laws aro tho only division having' a three years' course distinguishes them In no way save that a deflnlto assign ment of tho first year class as part of either tho Freshman or Sop1iomore3 In tho academic soction should bo made. 4 Tho interests of the Law classes aro 'In no jvay different fronj those of tho rest of tho Unlvorslty. True, they tako different courses, but they are, nevertheless, an integral part of tho school as a whole. On tho question of tho present Senior class thoro hardly seems to be any logical ground for dispute. Tho action of '07 as Juniors, in permitting the '0T Laws to participate In elections .and tho conduct of class affairs has al ready set the precedent. MR8. RAYMOND-AT CONVOCATION. Tho pragram to bp rendered by Mrs. Carrlo B. Raymond atImivocatlon this morning should nrove a raw) treat to ovory student of tho University.
