The Athletic Board held a meeting Tuesday afternoon of this week and chose Mr. T. M. Stuart as assistant coach. Mr. Stuart has played on tho Michigan team for tho last two" years and was a member of the Denver Uni versity team for the two years previ ous. He is a famous end and an ex cellent punter. The Board also decided to place on sale season tickets for the games to he played In Lincoln. General admis sion will be $3.00 and grandstand reser vations will cost $5.00 per book. These ticket books can be obtained at the ofllco of the University Treasurer in the Admini8traton Building, or at Harry Porter, 1123 0 street, com mencing Wednesday, September 2Cth. The new charging machine, designed to develop speed in charging in the line and built according to tho Yoat pat tern, has beon set up on the Athletic Feld and will be put into use at once. This machine will be one of tho fea tures of tho work this Fall and great things are expected from it. A new feature in gymnasium work that will cause no little interest among those interested in general athletics la announced by Dr. Clapp. In his Phys ical Education courses 13 and 15, ono hour each week Is to bo devoted to swimming in tho now pool at tho city Y. M. C. A. and at least a part of an hour In overy week Is to bo given to elementary training In bo.Ylng. Both of these features should prove very at tractive to University men. Y. M. C. A. NOTE8. Wolf, of tho Mission Study Committee, ono hundrod; while Chair man Swan, of tho committee on mem bership, hopes to pass the five hundred mark before Christmas. In addition to this anticipated in crease in numbers, tho Association will havo a budget of thirteen hundred dollars, an increase of four hundrod dollars over last year's expenses. Mr. der Kindern Is a graduate of Purduo University; class of '06, where ho spent sovoral years In Y. M. C. A. work.
