Interacholastlc Debate.
There 1b a movement on foot at tho
present time to reorganize the Ne
braska Iritorscholnstlc Debating
League. Heretofore there has been
but eight high schools allowed to en
ter tho Interscholastlc debate held in
Lincolncach year. This has caused
more or less dissatisfaction among the
schools who wore refused admittance.
But more than that could not debate
at onS time. Af the last meeting It
was seen that a change wub heces
sary. Consequently a committee was op
pointed to look into the matter. Tho
committee consists of Chancellor- E.
B. Andrews, State Superintendent
O'Brien and Professor M. Mr Fogg.
Professor Fogg suggested tho follow
ing, which Beene(T very feasible:' It
was to divide the state Into six divi
sions and selecting the winner In
each 'llvlalon. Then these winners
should gather In Lincoln to decide the
state championship in Interscholastlc
debate. This would systematize tho
work and lnorease InteresL
