'The Freshman Party.
The annual Freshman party to be
given at Walsh Hall Saturday, May
19th, promises to be one of tho most
enjoyable functions of tho year. Tho
prjco of tickets this year has been
reduced to $1.25 and it, Is to be hoped
that the student body will show its ap
proval of this movo"by liberal patron
age. In casoMho advance salo of
tickets indicates alarger attendance
than Walsh Half will comfortably ac
commodate, It is likely thatFraternlty
Hall will be "secured. MubIc fprthe
dance will be furnished by Walt Or
chestra The arrangements and salo
of tickets are in the hands of E. B.
Drake, chairman,, J,. L. Runner, mas
ter of ceremonies, anil the following
committee: Miller Benedict,' Margaret
Wheeler, EdgacJNewell, R. C. Patter
son, R. L. Harrison, L. W. Smith, and
Katherlno Doyle. -
Juniors Meet Today.
The Juniors 'will meet thlsmorning
in Memorial Hall. Tho question of
raising funjlafor the class baseball
team will be brought up and some
provision made for levying an assess
ment on the class to raise tho neces
sary funds. The" report of tho commit
tee on amendments to the constitu
tion and by-lawB will bo given. It has
been found necessary to reduco-the.
number necessary to-constitute a
quorum. The present provision in the
by-laws governing class hops and par
ties Is not satisfactory to a majority
of the class and an amendment will
be offered- to secure better regulation'
of them.
Y. W. C. A.
Every Junior girl should come out to
the Sunday service May 13th, if only1
to enjoy the musical part of the pro
gram. We cannot help enjoying the
selections given by the double quar-
tette, and the ladles' trio, and we are
always glad to hear Mr. Cornell's
trombone solo. So let us come and
enjoy the music and we will be sure to
get a great deal from Mrs. Hlamaa's
message also.
