Give Two Successful Concerts in Coun
ell Bluffs and One In Omaha.
The nice and Mandolin- ClubH save a
very enjoyable concert at Omaha
Thursday evening and the Boyd, al
though not no full aa it could ha've
been, held a very enthusiastic audi
ence, a every number woh encored
heartily. The heavy part of the pro
gram ueenied to give the beat satis
faction, although the lighter parts
were appreciated.
The clubs went to Council Bluffs at
noon and the afternoon concert was
given Tor the high school, where the
children chipped .until their hands
were so sore they would stand no
more. The house was jammed full
and the clubs had as much fun playing
to as Jolly a bunch as the audience did
In listening.
This proved to be a very good "ad,"'
as the house was full and a little bit
crowded at 8:lf In the evonlng, and
all the boys declare that they nover
played' to a more appreciative audience.
Kvery number was thoroughly en
joyed, If one can Judge by the encores
they recoivod and not only this, but
the "filfos" gave a royal reception
after tho concert and every one was
made to feel at homo, as far as pos
sible, and tho boys returnod to Omaha
feeling that Council Bluffs had some
of the nicest people that they had
ever met.
The club returned Saturday morning.
