some plan of readjustment, satisfac
tory to all may be formulated and put
into effect. The board of directors
desires to stato that this action is not
taken for tho purposo of fomenting
strife, but is that which has scorned
conducive to tho most peaceable set
tlement of the matters at issue.
Tho attention of tho students Is
called to tho salo of tickets for tho
University Band concert to be given
March 4th. Tho Band always responds
willingly when asked to play for Uni
versity functions and thoy desorvo tho
loyal support of tho students in re
turn. Tho concert is given for a good
purposo and tho receipts will mainly
go to help add a permanent improve
ment to the campus.

day period of, examinations which for

versity faculty voted that any depart
