next semester on the "Relation of
Science and Religion." It will bo a
study of the grounds of rollglous be
lief from a scientific and philosophical
point of view. Somo of the principal
topics considered will be: Scientific
explanations of the origin of religion,
principles of tho ovolutlon of religion,
the psychology of religion, tho Idea of
God and arguments for His exlstenco
as affected by science, philosophy and
biblical criticism.
This course will bo given by Pro

lectures and pass tho examination on
tho-samo will recelvo ono-half hour
credit. Those who do In addition a
