Miss Dean has been kept very busy tho last week or two in attending receptions' givon in her honor. At tho Social Hour meet ing she was tendered a farewell. Many wero presont to wish her God speed. At this meotlng nho was pre sented with a gold bracelet from the students and faculty. Ono class gave her a dainty Nobraska pin as a final token of remembrance. Tho basket-ball try-out was held last Wednesday evening. .The scoro was 2G to 20 in favor of tho Yellows. Tho following wero chosen to represent tho Academy at Tecumseh in tho game Friday night: Misses Barbour, Cam eron, Douwalter, Hartonk Lyman, Noal and Packwood. Miss Glttings will go aB coach and cbaporoi)o. Negotiations are on for a dobate between tho Academy and York High School. It Is fearod, however, that a suitable date cannot be secured. Examination Schedule Issued. Tho schedulo of the final examina tions to tako place,. week after next has been Issued. Examinations will occur at about tho same tlmo as here tofore, with tho exception that in a few of the courses in which there aro a largo number of divisions tho exami nations will all occur at the same time, although In different' rooms. This is done in order that all the students may have the same opportunity to pass -creditable tests. In former years some of tho division have been examined on Monday and some on Thursday, and tho student who was in tho latter would have a chance to see tho ques tions given the other classes and pre pare himself accordingly. Thcsp classes will have their examination as follows: Rhetoric 1, Saturday, Janu ary 27, 1:15 p. m. Latin 1, Monday, 8 a. m. French 1, Tuesday, 1$45 p. m. German 1, Monday, 1:15 p. m.
