hemline "After the Hnt," n very much
distorted view of a rathor Innocent occurrence-
wns presented. Tho writer
of the article, apparently uninformed
as to tho fncttf, stated that tho Sonlor
president tried to steal a Junior hat.
The factaof tho caso are, in briof,
theso: Three glrla, a Junior nnd two
Seniors, wore talking In one of the
halls. The Senior, who wiib not "tho
president, pulled tho pins out of the"
hat and started to niako oft with it.
A good-natured tussle then ensued be
tween tho two, and . as tho Junior
seemed to be gaining ground, tho
Sonlor called for holp. Tho president's
part In the affair was this: Sho hold
the Junior's glasses to keep them from
getting broken. Tho tussle lusted but
a fow minutes, becnuso moro Juniors
camo and overpowered tho Senior.
