The freshmen have at last taken ac
tive steps toward the organization of
a football, team,,. and at. the practlco

University, and has had considerable
oxporlonco. As yot tho freshmen have
refused to schedule a game with tho
sonhomores. but are hard at work each
morning and will bo willing to play

Tho University Dining Room has re
cently been oponed under an entirely
now managejnontt and .Is now serving
meals regularly. Already Its popular
ity Is becoming recognized by the stu
dents and faculty. The excellent qual
ity of food Borved, combined with good
service and low prlco, Is fast making
the University Dining Room one or
tho moat popular Ulnlng roorns In the
city. It Is located on Twolfth and Q
streets In Hayes Hall (formerly Uni
versity Woman's building).
