parent are proudly displaying colors
fastened in the lapels of their coats,
reminding one for all tho world of
blue ribbon calves at a county fair.
All this merely moans that It Is rush

are rapidly getting new pledges.
One most noticeable characteristic
of pledge work m former years Is con

tho streamers of colors usually worn

Pan-Hellenic Association last year de
cided that the prevailing custom was
unwise for some reason or other, and
decreed that henceforth a modest lit
tle pleco of ribbon should suffice. Tho
comparative ease with which one may
now walk through tho main hall at
chapel time proves that this provision
was very wise.
It Is noteworthy, however, that a
large majority of the new pledges
seem to be more or less dazed yet, and
there Is a widespread rumor that a
number of them have forgotten the
name of tho fraternity whose colors
they are wearing. Accordingly, for
tho benefit of these confused Fresh
men, ns well as for the Information of
curious ones, we append the following
list of the colors of the different fra
ternities and sororities:
Alpha Tau Omega Sky blue and old
Alpha Theta Chi Moss and old gold.
B"t 1 Theta PI Pink and blue.
D1P1 Tau Delta Purple, white and
