Nebraska, returned a few days ago. They are Messrs. Frazler. Pear son and Goldman. The men have been the line or work that they expect to follow and show the effects of the month's work in the open air How ever, they have gained some further knowledge of forestry through the work and do not regret the experience The University Herbarium now con tains about one hundred thousand plants. On account of the great weight of tho collection It Is no longer possible to put any more cases In Room 110 where most of tho herbar ium ia stored, but it has been found necessary to put two long cases in the corridor of Nebraska hall. TOURIST CARS POPULAR. The Idea that nn Inferior class of people patronize tho tourist sleepers Ib an error. On many trips only tho best class of travelers are found. They are merely men and women of good sense who would rather travel to Cull fornlu In this manner and save a snug sum of money to be used elsewhere. It Is beginning to be understood that it Is by no means necessary for tho traveler to spend a largo sum of money In order to enjoy a trip to tho Pacific Coast. If you cross the continent In one of thol tourist sleepers of tho Union Pacific you will enjoy your trip and save considerable money. Inquire of E. B. Slosson, Gen'l Agent.
