Manning Will Run.
The prospects for a good trat k team

evening by the announcement that Ed
Manning would enter the sprints.
Manning has made good lime in the
sprints and at present holds the 220
and -1-10 yard dash records. These re -t
rds were made two yeaTs ago.
Faculty to Play.
The Lincoln Commert lal club and the
faculty of the University will meet on
the campus Thursday afternoon, May
2f, when a game of baseball for the
benefit of college settlement will be
played. The management is endeavor
ing to arrange for a double-header and
expects that theVarsity team will play
the city team.
