The address to university men last Sunday by Dr. D. L. Thomas, of Grace M. E. church, was, as had been piomised, one of more than ordinary strength.' Dr. Thomas Is one of the city's practical pulpit men, and the thoughts developing his subject, "Be, Get, Do, Something," were very Inter esting, and made for a more virile christian character among those who heard him. Next Sunday afternoon, May 7, Rev. L M. Denton, of the East Lincoln Bap tist church, will give an address to men on the subject "The New Hero ism." Mr. Will J. Elliott, of the University Glee club, will sing. The meeting lasts one hour, beginning promptly at 3 and closing at 4 o'clock and will be held in Art hall. There are three medala nwarded each year at the Massachusetts Institute of technology on the basis of improve ment in physical development.
