Academy Notes.
The March Issue of the Academy
News Is being circulated this week.
The Issue contains a series of arti
cles on various topics of Interest to
Academy students.
The regular meeting of the Academy
Debating Club for Saturday evening
has been postponed until two weeks
from Saturday night. Tho meetings
of the club continue to attract tho
large crowd of students that character
ized the early meetings of the club,
nnd the Interest in forensic work con
tinues to be high In spite of the fact
that no debates will be hlld with out
side schools.
The Academy girls' basektball team
will play two more games before the
session closes. Tho first of these will
be with Wahoo High School and the
second will be played with Wesleyan
University. The team this year has
played more games than any of the
teams that the Academy has previous
ly put out and has succeeded in win
ning all but one of them. Tho one lost
was played with LlncolnHigh School
early In the season boforo the Acndemy
team had had much practice and tho
largo score run up by tho Lincolnltes
can hardly bo considered as Indicating
the relative strength of the two teams.
It Js barely possible that another
game will bo played with the Lincoln
High School girls before the close of
the season.
Cancellor Andrews will deliver the
closing lecture tomorrow evening to
the North Nebraska Teachers' Associ
ation at York.
