Arrangements have been made whereby the candidates for the high jump may practice three time a week, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The time set for the practice is 4 to 5 p. m. Tuesday and Thursday and 3 to 4 p. m. Saturday. All candidates are urged to be out and practice at the time set. First Meeting. The Nebraska Entomological society, which was organized March 8, held its first regular meeting last evening and M. H. Swenk, of the Department of Entomology, gave a talk on "Thysaml ra." E. K. Bowman read a paper. The society has planned to meet every S.g0.eh..B.Tswr-oBH-enbs,CqvarWed Wednesday evening and short pro grams will be given at each meeting. Supt. Fee Returns. Mr. O. J. Fee, superintendent of grounds and buildings, has just re turned from a visit to Iowa State Col lege at Ames and to the Iowa State University at Iowa City. Mr. Fee vis ited the Hawkeye Institutions to inves tigate various equipment and methods of operation, which information is to be used in connection with the new University buildings. Mr. G. W. Ells worth, Mr. Fee's predecessor, who is new superintendent of grounds and buildings at the University of Iown, returned with Mr. Fee. University students still find the au ditorium skating rink a pleasant place to spend1 leisure hours and a good sized crowd of the students may be seen at the rink each day.
