W. C. A. NOTES. Last Saturday afternoon the Y. W. C. A. held. its. annual meeting, in the parlor of tho University Woman' building. The meeting opened with a sng by Miss Elinor Andrews which was followed by the annual reports of the retiring cabinet members which were nil excellent. After a few words by the retiring president Miss Eva Cooper, tho following officers for the coming year wero Installed, the regu lar service being used. President Miss Pearl Archibald. Vico President Miss Ethel Kenrlch. Treasurer Miss Myrtle Kauffman. Secretary Miss Lillian Bennet. Mrs. Easterday, a member of the American committee, was the speaker at the Sunday afternoon meeting. Mrs. Easterday has been active in Y. W. C. A. work for many years, being a mem ber of tho second Y. W. C. A. ever or ganised. Sho based her talk upon Isa. 5f.:G. "Seek ye the Lord while ho may bo found, " bringing out the Impor tance of seeking the Iord in youth, in order to live an effective Christian life. Miss Laura Ewen sang. Miss Olive Griffith, one of our vol unteers, who graduated at the mid-winter commencement, has already been appointed to a field. Sho will be sent to China by tho First Christian church of this city.
