It is probable tha,t meets will be ar
ranged with Colorado (in Lincoln),
Minnesota (at Iowa City), Ames (at
Ames), and South Dakota (olther at
Vermillion or at Sioux City).
It is also possible that Nebraska will
send a team to tho Minnesota Relay
Carnival to bo hold about May 1st.
ThiB will bo patterned after tho Penn
sylvania relays andgold watches for
firsts, silver watchos for seconds, and
medals for third prizes will bo given.

The gymnastic contest for places on
the Chicago team will be divided into
two parts. At each somi-contost only
part of the apparatus will bo used. The
first one will bo held Wednosday oven
ing, Feb. 22, and If Dr. Clapp is suc
cessful in his plan, the varlouB gym
nastic events will be interspersed with
semi-finals and finals of an inter-closs
relay potato race. About one month
will intervene between the semi-contests
and tho best men in both will re
ceive ribbons. No cup will bo given
this year but the man making tho most
points In both contests gets an "N."
Saturday, Feb. 18, is tho last day on
which entries for tho gymnastic con
test will bo received.
Law College.
The second "Monday evening" talk
will be given before tho law students
by R. L. Mockett, Esq., Feb. 20. Mr.
Mockett's subject will be, "How to Get
Commercial Business and How to Han
dle It." Informal talks on practical
matters have been arranged by the
law department for every Monday
evening. These talks by experienced
lawyers will prove very profitable to
the law students. R. S. Allen, Esq.,
has been scheduled to speak Feb. 27.
The Supremo Court of the Law
School has held no session for the last
three weeks on account of tho fact
that all the cases in tho old docket had
been tried. A new dockot lo being pre
pared and tho trial's are expected to
begin again in about two weeks.
