day 4-5 L 310. This is a course on
"Oriental I lfe" taking up China and
Japan especially the latter. Tills
course is a continuation of one on In
dia given last semester, but It Is open
to any and all students. Mrs. Hlnman
was born near Constantinople and
spent tho early years of her life In that
historic city. She is therefore emi
nently qualified to give this unusually
Interesting course. Too much praise
cannot be given respecting her ex
ceptional ability and her strong and
attractive personality. Students are
urged to investigate this course and
take advantage of it. Its strength and
popularity Is well shown In tho fact
that three people from Cotnor will
make the trip in to tho University for
the purpose of studying under Mrs.
Hlnman. By some oversight tho
course was omitted from the schedule.

3 p. m. Miss Berg, Miss Griffith and
Mr. Harrison will be the speakers.
The Big Cabinet will hold Its Janu
ary meeting at the Y. W. C. A. rooms
