In connection with the Pan Hellenic council It Is of interest to note that by a recent resolution, pledges made to various fraternities by high school students during the summer, will not bo considered binding. Tho annual banquet of Sigma Chi will take place January 11. This year tho fraternity will celebrate tho 23rd anniversary of Its Installation hero. Sigma Chi has tho honor of being tho first local chapter of a national fra ternity founded at Lincoln. There have been a number of initia tions at the sorority houses during tho week.
