FRED GIFT FROM BRYAN. Noted Nebraskan Makes Dona tion to Museum. The university received a gift Thursday, from Hon. W. J. Bryan, which is at once unique and valuable. It consists of a section of a slllclfled log of Sequoia, from the petrified for ests, now a national park and reser vation six miles F.outh of Adamana, Ariz. There are 145 square miles in the two national petrified forest reserva tions, and it Is only by express written permission from the government that the petrified wood can be removed from the preserves. The section do nated by Mr. Bryan is about fourteen inches In diameter and beautifully col ored. It will be exhibited with the Bryan collection, in the north wall case of the state museum. Inter-Class Game- A game has been scheduled be tween tho freshmen and sophomores to take place on tho football flold next 'Ihursday afternoon.
