The University of Kansas was greatly
arouted last week by tho action of the
police at tho time of their football vic
tory celebration. The evening after tho
game with Colorado was celebrated
with harmless fireworks and during
the celebration four stifdents-were ar
rested in reference to the affair. The
Kansan says, "the action of the police
Saturday night was unjust and entirely
u ncal I led for. Tho students were
wanted because they would not light,
but would, as they repeatedly have
done, pay their tines like gentlemen,
entirely out of the clasB of vne
mouthed and bloody eyed human be
ings wearing old blue uniforms."
