Tho parlor on the first tloor pre sented a most wierd appearance with its dim candles and Jack-o-lanterns Ah the guestH assembled In thin mys terious abode, they were solemnly con ducted by lines of tall ghosts to wan der through tho mazes ot the upper regions. Preceding through the labjrlnth of red hangings and red Jack-o-lanterns, they were Btoppod by numerous occu pants of this region. Besides Gypsies and trick fortune tollers, colored dan cers and cake walkers flitted gayly be foro thorn. Misses Vilan Lee, Nell Ensor and Mrs Dr. Orr were prom inent in this capacity. On to the third floor the gucbts wan dered. Hero all was In yellow. Num erous "stunts" were offered In the way of apple bobbylng, soa) bubbling and nut cracking. The fourth floor with Its many dark and erotpy looms demanded a courage ous heart and firm stop to proceed. The bravest, however, were rewarded. After they safely passed through tho dark rooms decorated with ghosts and skeletons and skulls, they reached tho fortune teller Mks Allen, who directed them to the roof, "there to meet your fate." On the roof, midst myriads of Jaek-o-lnntcrna. stood tho Image of their fate, "a man." About 200 guests were present. Dur ing the evening soft cider, cako, cook ies and nuts were served. Among those who participated in tho affair were Misses Vivian Lee, Pearl Fitzgerald, Grace. Purdy, Nell Enbor, Nell Dovey, Gomberg, Cramer. Anderson, White, Arnold, Allen and Prankish. The Dollaus held their annual Hal lowe'en party last Friday evening at the state form. A large crowd was in attendance and a most enjoyabjo time bad. Refreshments, in the way of pumpkin pies, apples, walnuts and candy were served. A. I. Bates gave a -few interesting readings, nno old lashioned Hallowe'en games were playecL The Unions and Palladians also held their Hallowe'en parties at the Tarm on.the same evening. Their entertain ment was much the same as that of the Dellans and an excellent time is .reported. STUDENTS' RECITAL. The First of the Year in Mem orial Hall Thursday.
