Y., was Initiated last Saturday evening at the fraternity house. The theater afforded much recrea tion to a number of dniversity stu dents during the week. On Saturday evening there will be a formal dance at the house.- A number of friends and fraternity mow will mako up tho party on Saturday evening. At tho state farm a typical Hallowe'en pro gram 1b offered while several of the literary societies will give parties suit able to tho evening. Tomorrow evening the dormitory will bo thrown open to tho girls of thof university. The occupants of the dor mitory aro making great preparations in tho lino of decorating and tho re ception room on tho first floor, as well as tho smaller ones upstairs, will wear their gala attire. Tho Chi Omega sorority has an nounced three now pledges, Miss Clara Helmrod of Omaha, Miss May Stra horn of North Platte, and Miss Edith Patterson of North Platte. Tho in itiation of these now members will take place tomorrow evening and will bo followed by a spread. There have beon several Informal chafing dish par ties and small dances at tho sorority house during tho past week. Tho annual reception of Prof. Bar ber to tho Latin students In Fraternity Hall on Tuesday evening was largely attended. Tho Hall was tastily dec orated In crimson and white banners and bunting. In the receiving lino wero Prof, and Mrs. Barber, Prof. E. Johnson and Miss Hunter. During the evening, light refreshments were served.
