The manager of the Colorado team
has spared no pains in his efforts to
make the game a success, and with this
aim in view he has advertised the
game throughout the entire state.
Owing to the huge number of par
tisans of both universities who reside
In Colorado, it is expected that this
will be the largest game played in that
section of the country.
The University of Colorado, which
is situated at Boulder, has tho strong
est team in the state, and has demon
strated its superiority oxer Nebraska
in a recent -match by defeating it

The new six day-three hour sjt-tem
has been adopted at Minnesota It
was the Idea or the faculty that by
means of this new system the work
would be distributed over six days in
stead of five. The method Is not meet
ing with approval among tho student
body, because it necessitates stub ir
tegular classes and hours.
In conseqnece ol recent orders fiom
the government requiring at least five
hours of drill per week from the Min
nesota cadets, much excitement nan
been caused at that institution. If
this rule is enforced extra credit will
be demanded and some ofHceis declare
that they will not drill without paj
for the extra hours.
Notable action has been taken at
Oxford In the eate of Earl Murray,
who waB last year awarded the Cecil
Rhodes scholarship lor the state of
Kansas. Mr. Murray refused to be
come a member of the Church of Eng
land, and on. these religious grounds
