The piogram consists of music usual!) avoided by Rice clubs as tcx dllHult. and Includes some such pieces a.s "The Hunting Cry of the Seeonee Pack," "Drink to me Only with Thine Ees." The program also IncludeH two mem bers by Phillip Hudson of the Unier sity fchool of Music facility. At the next meeting of the Athletic board the question as to whether the Kit Is should be allowed to vote or not will come up again for discussion It Is evident that the preponderance of saitimeut in tho school favors the withdrawal of the privilege by the board. As a practice the manner and circumstances under which the girls have In tho past voted doers not meet popular approval, and It Is a recognized fact that they have never felt any great concern In the Athletic Hoard elections, anyhow. Now Is a good time for tfie board to act. when popular sentiment is making demands and everything is favorable to such action. A delay In tho matter would profit nothing and uc do not believe that any will be made. Besides tho ground has been gone over thoroughly and the matter of girls voting has long been productive of complaint, and we find few who un dertake to defend the practice. Then. It Is Indeed time to act, and we look to the board to abolish this practice, which has not berved the purpose for which It was intended and which ha alwajs been a source of complaint and embarrassment UNION MEETING TOMORROW Men and Women Will Hold Joint Meeting- it has been the custom of the Y W.
