letic committee of the University of
Pennsylvania all special students will
bo ruled out of athletics, no mattei
how many hours of work they take
each week. This will keep from play
ing at least 25 per cent of the men
who make up the teams. The Athenaeum.
The state legislature has done the
proper thing In refusing to cut down
the appropriations for the state schools.
Tho final vote in the senate on the
appropriation stood 11 to 1 in favor
of the bill. It allows the state normal
$84,000, tho state university $208,000,
the state college $380,000. We con
gratulate our neighbors In this victory
for progress Drako Delphic.
