The moFt vigorous efforts will be ex cited to secure thoroughly prepared discussions of up to date questions in political economy, sociology and cur rent events. The sontiment of the students is de cidedly in favor of this movement and all .feel tho need of such an organiza tion, not only for th? discussion of present questions, and topics, but also for tho practical work in parliamen tary drill which it affords. In fact our school seems to be about tho only ono where a vigorous student debating organization is lacking. Students should be better acquainted with current topics and events, and If there Is anything manifestly to be deplored It is the general Inability of students to handle a parliamentai y meeting of any kind. The movement deservcb the support of all and there Is no reason why it bhould not be- a complete success In every way.
