The Rhodes Scholarship examination
will be held here April 13th. This fact
ought to interest all the students of
this University who are anxious to
achieve advancement and gain some
thing by their own merits. They should
realize what this opportunity means
and hold In view the prize that is
offered. Nothing that uhu.U i.an be
accomplished without hard work and
no man over wins out who has not
exerted effort In'uehalf of his own in
terests. Those who have already sig
nified their intention of taking the ex
amination are entitled to a consider
able amount of credit, and are setting
an example tliat others should not
hesitate to follow.
The man who wins out can certainly
lie comfortable In the consciousness of
his achievement. No chance- for a more
desirable honor is placed before the
American student today that tho vii
