It Is proposed to make this an annual conference. No set program has been adopted, and the conference will last several days. The following educators have signified their Intention of attending: James Burrlll Angell, president of the University of Michigan; C. H. Van HIse, acting-president of the University of Wisconsin; Cyrus Northrop, president of the Uni ersity of Minnesota; W. O. A few years ago tne first spring flow ers were seen by some of the sharp eyed botanists. The flowers were those of the silver maple, which usual ly may be looked for at this time in March.
