Academy Notes. Miss Nellie !,. Dean gave her bas ket ball girls a bachelor spread at her rooms lately, to the great enjoyment ill the girls. This was to celebrate the victory over the Y. W. C. A. team. The girls expect to play the Midgets of the University, next week, and as a consequence in every room, at every door and on every block a charmer stands anxious to sell tickets. The young men are responding well, re membering how glad they were to re ceive help from the women last fall. Tho Academy will make an effort to bring out a good crowd. Incense will be burned and sacrifices offered to the end that the gods may be propitious to tho Academy women. Messrs. Myers, Morgan, Miller, Do Wolfo, Do Young and Shaw aro sup posedly busily preparing for the coming debate with the city Y. M. C. The notice of the annual offering of tho Bryan prize has been posted. The question to be discussed Is: "To what extent should political parties be sub Jest to legal control?" In past yeats competition-or this prize has not been very brisk.
