Ab soon as all the ne gotiations, pending with her are com pleted, thero will begin a busy whirl culminating in the two great big de bates that make up the schedule this year. The preliminaries will soon be gin, and they will call forth an unusual degree of effort among candidates for places owing to the prizes that have boon offered and the additional honor of winning them. o Students should not neglect to call at the postonVo for their mail. The Liederkranz Ib reporting good pi ogress, and good results are being ob tained under the leadership of Mrs. Raymond. Tho membership nt the Wednesday period has been slightly better than on Monday. At present there are about forty members. A pro gram will be given at one or the con vocation periods soon. Buildings Progress at the Farm. Most of thr buildings In process of construction nt the State Farm are ncaring completion. The dairy build ing, horticultural building, and the shops are almost completed. Woi'u on It will not begin until spring. All basket ball men not Included in the original list will practice Saturday afternoon from 1:30 to 2:30. It Is ex pecially requested that all Junior men make It a point to attend this practice In order to strengthen their class team. The Glee dub is rounding into shape for giving a number of concerts, nnd good pi ogress is leported along the whole line. Besides holding Its regu lar practice Tuesday night, the club r t' at the home of Director Eamos V" . 'ny evening. All tho parts aro full, nv, music has been provided, and the prospects are bright for a success ful season. The club consists of twen ty members, most of whom have served before. A strong sched ule will bo arranged and some good Fames will be played hero such as will merit public patronage. Tho Min nesota Agricultural College has sent word to Manager Hewitt that it would like to meet Nebraska, and It is quite likely that a game will be arranged.
