Palladian Thanksgivngi Feed.
The Palladian society held Its an
nual Thanksgiving "feed" last Wednes
day night. This "feed" is one of the
oldest customs connected with the Uni
versity. It is also one of the jolliest,
and the Thanksgiving "feed" of 1903
proved to bo an exceptionaly good one.
Palladian hall waa beautifully decor
ated with palms, chrysanthemums, and
ixarlet and cream bunting. A large
flag adorned the south end of the hall.
The guests wcro received at the
door of the hall by Miss Geneva Bul
lock and Mr. James Anderson. Each
person was provided with a conversa
tion card. Progressive conversation
was enjoyed for half an hour, after
which Mr. William O'Shea. an old Pal
ladian, entertained the society with
some conjuiing. Mr. O'Shea is nn art
ist at this work and executed a great
many marvellous feats. Among other
things, a collection for the Temple
Fund was taken. Half-dollars came
from Pioftzsor Caldwell's whiskcrB.

After tho "feed" came the toasts.
Professor Fossler acted as toastmaster.
All the toasts were witty and inspiring.
Miss Ethel Colyell, '05, talked upon,
"The firm warm clasp of a comrade's
hand." Miss Colwell told of the sense
of comradeship which comes from the
society work and llto. Committee
work brings about a great many warm,
life-long friendships.
Mr I) P DeYoung. '07. next called
upon "The Now Numbeib." He told
how glad the new members were to be
able to call themsehes Palladians.

toast, his subject being, "Pall Hall,

for the hall and expiessed the convic
tion that Pall hall will alwajs flouiish

Then the Palls wended their ways to
