. Two frnt men were talking it over.
Neither could understand why Georgo
Brown was so popular with the ladies,
lie didn't go to many of the danrea,
or the theatre, yet every frat glrlkbn
the campus put herself out to speaklto
him, and he waB at all their parties!
The discussion of woman's vagaries.
fickleness, etc., waxed warm, uiffll It
attracted the attention of afellow
Greek, who inquired the whenfore.
"That same thilw?-worrJedme a lot,
too," he said, "hilt I see through his
little game noyy Sunday afternoon I
was calling- and noticed at the Alpha
Kappa house a picture with a card
reading: "Congratulations on your new
pledges. Georgo Brown." A little
later I discovered a like remembrance
nt the Delta Omega's and at the Kap
pa Beta's ditto. I always though that
George's head was level, and this seems
to confirm said suspicion."

A use has at last been found for the
cave located south of the city, around
wlnu. so many weird rumors hang.
Last Saturday evening Beta acta
PI UBed this cavern as a place In which
to initiate ten men into the mysteries
of their fraternity. The men were con
ducted from the chapter house and
landed, for all they know, deep into the
earth, where, far from the prying eyes
of common mortals, the Beta oaths
were adminTstered.
