is recovering rapidly, and will be able
to meet his classes in a few days.

his year's work In Chicago University,
and has come back to Nebraska. He
will preach in Kansas during the sum
mer, hut Is now visiting friends here.

C. E. Farley, of last year's sophomore
class, is In the city, calling on Univer
sity friends. Mr. Farley is in the real
estate business with his brother at
Bancroft. He reports a very goo'd
business. He contemplates, going to
Columbia next year.
The government Inspector will visit
the University and Inspect the military
department some day this week. All
cadets are ordered to clean their equip
ment and put it in perfect condition,
also to be in readiness to fall in for
inspection at any time during the re
mainder of the week. White duck trou
sers will be worn, and they must be
newly laundered.
Dr. Bolton will go to Colorado today
to deliver a course of three lectures
In return for Dr. Allln's recent lecture
here before- the philosophical and peda
gogical clubs. The lectures will be
given on Thursday night and during
Friday on. the following topics: "Func
tions of Mind In Animal and Human
Life." "The Relation of Pleasure and
Pain to Emotion." and "Effects of Pas
times." The doctor will " not return
until Sunday or Monday.
