At the hast meeting of the college settlement board the treasurer's report showed that the association was very nearly out of debt and a number of contributions were In sight for the Improvements needed. It was decided to have a cement floor laid In the base ment and to build a brick sidewalk on the west and north sides of the lot. Since thon contracts have been made for both Improvements, and the cement floor was finished last Saturday. It Is a good, substantial floor of concrete and cement, and the room will be very convenient for tho purposes Intended.
