Colo. Springs, Feb. 12tb.
Special Correspondence to Tho Ne
braska Nebraska once more carried
her banner victoriously at the Temple
theatre, Colorado Springs. The lodal
team was clearly outclassed. They
showed lack of practice and experi
ence. The game was very slow, owing I
partly to this, and partly to the slip
pery floor. The attendance was about
130, but their cheers did not avail
much. The game was striking by Its
entire absence of rough play. Tho
feature of the game was Eliott's goal
throwing. Benedict made a sensation
by throwing a goal almost across the
field. Tho team is standing the trip
splendidly, and the altitude seems to
make them play all the better. No
one seems to get any satisfaction from
the answer to the question whether
the altitude affects them or not. The
team is confident of beating Bouldor,
which tenm Is considered the best In
the state. Between halves tho college
quartet rendered two fine selections.
Everybody was well pleased with the
game and could not help but express
their admiration at the way In which
our boys handled the ball in catching
and passing. The line-up:
Colorado. Poa. Goals. Fouls.
