Rev. Hugh Walker, a graduate of the

was married yesterday to Miss Jessie
Hall of Ridgebury, N. J., where he was
recently pastor.
V. L. Strickland, a Sopohmore of last
year, visited the university last week
and took In tho football game. Ho Is
teaching sciences and mathematics In
tho Geneva high school.
William Chapman, at one time a stu
dent In the university, came down from
Richfield Friday night to visit friends
and see the Knox game. He brought
with him some very fine fossils, found
In Sarpy county, which he donated to
tho state museum.
Tho zoological department has re
cently purchased a large number of
topographical maps of tho United
States geological survey. These are to
bo mounted and used In connection
with the study of distribution of ani
mals In this state.
