Miss Addle Harris, who Is the corre
sponding secretary of the Nebraska
Federation of Reform, has just re
turned to her work in the university
after a two weeks' tour in the state, in

Dr. Brace, who has been quit ill
with typhoid fever for the past three
weeks, Is convalescent. It is thought
that he will be able to meet his classes
again before long.
The cadets' shining parlor will be
newly equipped after this week. A
dozen new brushes and a supply of
blacking has been received and will be
placed in the canon room soon.
The first weekly students' recital of
tho University School of Music will
occur in Memorial hall Friday after
noon at 4 o'clock. These recitals will
take place regularly each weelc here
after. Delta Upsilon gave an Informal danc
ing party at the chapter house Tuesday
evening. About twenty-five couples
were present. The party was chap
eroned by Mrs. Archibald and Mrs.
Chadwlck.
